Where In The World Have I Been???

LOL...It's been so long...feel like I dropped off the face of the earth!!!
Ok, not really. I started working a few weeks ago. It's been quite an adjustment I must say.
Well since my last entry I turned 37 {YIKES} but I feel 20 something inside...guess thats what counts :) My weight loss is holding steady at 82 lbs, I think that I had hit a plateau ...{double yikes}...but I should have more loss to report very soon!!
Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!! We carved pumpkins, and the kids trick-or-treated!! They had a blast...and I am still picking up candy papers all over the house every day...lol

Like Mother...Like Daughter

We took these silly pictures of ourselves on Saturday night after Tiffany got home from a dance.

It is so much fun having a Teenager!! Yeah... they know how to make life difficult when they want to...but they also know how to be a good friend. I love you Tiffany!!!!

Tiffany also went to the HS football game on Friday night. When I got back from dropping her off, Douglas was crying because he wanted to go. So guess what...I took him and Kalie to the game and they had a blast. In fact Douglas and Kalie both got a little football for cheering so loud at half time.

Going to a HS Football game made me feel really old....lol

It's been a long time since I have been to one...lets say oh almost 20 years!!!! Can you believe that? My brother did not play football, just basketball, so yes it has been that long. Yikes!!

Now that I am feeling so old...it's time for me to go put on my ben-gay and take my geritol...lol

Update...I have now lost 75 lbs since June. Here is my photo update!! I am so proud that I have made it this far. There is still more to go till I make my goal...I will keep updating as I make further progress!!

CPS Contest

What An Amazing Week!!

Congratulations to HEIDI ....she won the Rusty Pickle Party Contest!!!! That is amazing!!!
Her ablum the greatest gift was about all the gifts her fiance gave her daughter with the greatest gift being the day he asked to be her dad. On top of this...we found out just days before her wedding!!! Congratulations Heidi, I am so proud of you!!! The other thing that was really cool is that I was chosen runner up. Wow...I did not see that coming!!!

Heidi's wedding was beautiful, and she looked STUNNING!!! Steve took some gorgeous photos at the wedding and I thought I would share a few of them. Decorating the gazebo was a lot of fun. Congratulations Heidi and Jed, I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!!

My good friend Heidi is getting married next weekend!! I made this wreath to go on the gazebo for her wedding. This is my first floral wreath!! It was a lot of fun!! Welcome Fall

I am so excited about the cool weather!!! Not to mention, no more re-runs ....new epsisodes of my fave shows!! I can't wait to see House and all three CSI's season premieres!!

Amber (lil' sis) did my hair yesterday..she is a maricle worker!! If you are looking for a new stylist....I can recommend one to you ;)

I have lost 65lbs now...I can't wait to get to goal...hopefully by Christmas!! I want to get all kinds of clothes right now...but I have to wait. Just a few pairs of jeans to get me by untill I get to goal!!

Congrats to my diet buddy Peggy!!! {She is doing awesome!!} Peg I am so proud of you!!!

Whats New With Me...

OK...so a few of my friends have made a major announcement like this lately...and they totally inspired me....to make a JOURNAL...no, I am not expecting...but I had you fooled there for a second...lol I posted this on my etsy shop today..thought I would share and have a little laugh... {yes I am still laughing... ;) }

My niece Makenzie is doing a fundraiser to benefit the National Brain Tumor Foundation. She is a Team Captain for Team Makenzie and will be walking in the Angel Adventure Walk on October 13th at Kiwana's park in Tempe. I have a link to her sponsorship page on the left.

Tiffany's First Swim Meet

We went to Tiffany's first swim meet yesterday. It was so hot I was ready to jump in the pool clothes and all in the middle of the competition...lol

The dive team had not started practice this season yet due to not having a coach, so she had not been going to practice. We finally convinced her to join the swim team too, so she had just started going to swim practice this week. Since Tiffany just started out she was only in one race and we got there 5 minutes after she had already raced. She did do some timing for the relays, so we cheered her on then :)

A New Me

I am so excited to share that I have lost 55 pounds since June. Here is my before and current. (The photo on the left is from May and the one on the right was taken on Sunday)

Thanks to my friends and family (especially Steve) for being so understanding of my mood swings while going through such a big change.

I will give another update in a month or so when I have more loss to report :)

Also, congratulations to all the finalists in the Rusty Pickle Party contest!!!

I could not believe there were 7 from our store that were picked!!! (actually I could believe it you all are awesome :)

1 Proud MaMa

Tiffany joined the dive team this year for school. I am so proud of her :) She makes me laugh. Allison started the 7th grade this year and is a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
She is such a hard worker, and she is very helpful at home. Kalie is in 4th grade this year, and is the sweetest kindest little person I know. Douglas is in the 3rd grade this year and really seems to enjoy school. He was so proud that he did not get in trouble on the first day....lol I must say he brings a lot of excitement and energy into our home :)


On my second kids in school day I finished another card kit and posted it in my Etsy shop.
It is lots of fun!! Thanks to everyone for being so supportive :) {hugs}

Back In My Groove

OK, I have so been MIA lately......but I am back!!!
The kids started school this morning. I got them droped off to their new class rooms at their brand new school (again). They have been to a new school each year for at least 5 years now.
At least they don't seem to be bothered by it :)

So, now I had a quiet morning and got my first card kit listed on ETSY. Make sure to stop by my shabby shop and check it out :)

Hopefully I can get another one designed today......

Back To Normal

With the closing of our store, life has been very chaotic. I am grateful for such wonderful caring family and friends that have helped me get through these hard times. There has been so many things that I have finally been able to take care of, now that I am home. I still have about a week or two of cleaning, organizing and I will feel somewhat normal again.

Thanks to everyone who has sent kind words regarding our store.

Life Isn't Always Easy

I just wanted to take a minute to thank my family and friends for being so supportive as I have been going through a difficult time in my life. I love you all, thanks for being there for me. I was looking through a book that my mom had given me last year for mothers day. I read a quote in it that God uses people to do his work, that is why we need to remember to help each other through our struggles. I have much to be thankful for, as I have been truly blessed by such a wonderful family and caring friends.

Rusty Pickle Amazing Race II Project #6

Another project done and two more to go!! This has been so much fun. For this project I turned the Rusty Pickle Heart album into a Gate Fold Heart Album. Finally I have done something with my wedding photos from 16 years ago!!!

I have really enjoyed getting to know all the other talented ladies in this contest. Honesty I feel truly blessed to be part of this contest.
